Job Description

Must have hands-on experience on Oracle EBS Financials in implementation or support type of projects.

Must have very good functional knowledge and hands-on experience in Oracle EBS financials R12 modules namely - GL, AR, AP, FA, CM and Indian Localization.

Must have a thorough understanding of Ebiz tax and should have configured Regime to Rate flow.

Should have worked in reconciliation of sub ledgers

Examples would be

AP accrual reconciliation and write-offs.

AP Liability reconciliation and methods of segregation

FA sub-ledger tie-back to GL

AR revenue accounting

TDS reconciliation in context of India localization

Bank reconciliation in Cash Management in lieu of AP and AR.

Experienced in financial consolidation process with GL. Example between statutory and corporate accounting books. Eliminations as a part of intercompany in GL.

Proficiency in terms of accounting transactions and rules logic in various areas of Oracle, e.g. as below

Inventory: COGS account in a standard set up from the inventory item

Intercompany inventory COGS account derivation and its handling in Oracle

AR driven by auto-accounting rules (transaction types vs standard Lines)

Projects auto-accounting rules etc for expenditures.

FA accounting

Understanding of business flows - Order to Cash, Procure to pay, IR-ISO, Intercompany invoicing and drop-shipment.

Know-how of material cost accounting in terms of procurement - Like expense item procurement, inventory asset purchase, inventory expense purchase, non-inventory asset purchase etc.

Good understanding of work-in-process and manufacturing job accounting.

Experience is necessary in the area of multiple currency and revaluation accounting.

Should be able to write new FSG and fix/change existing FSGs in GL.

Strong knowledge of inquiry screens and standard reports in each finance module

Should be able to speak the finance tongue with accounts team and finance controllers.
