Global Accounting

To perform activities that assist accurate and periodic on time GL closure for assigned countries, reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts, resolve outstanding open items to help in ensuring correctness of financial statements and contribute for improving the quality of deliverables by guiding the team members on process, including reconciliations. The Key tasks would include:-

1. Month close activities:

- Manual Journals preparation / accounting

- Intercompany accounting / tie outs / sub-licence fee transfers

- Expense accruals/allocations

- Commission & Bonus accruals/true-up & true-down

- Revenue accruals/deferrals/releases

- Expense/Balance Sheet Reclasses

- Close related audit reports validations/clearing

- Accounting for Interbank funds transfers, bank debits & interest charges

- Receivables aging validations for reserve computation

2. Balance Sheet account reconciliations

3. Testing process changes due to system upgrades

4. Support audit (Statutory / SOX / Internal)

5. Documentation

6. Contribution to process/reconciliation improvements

7. Training new joinees & other team members

Competency Skill required: Accounting concepts

- In depth Advanced understanding Accounting concept

- Accounting standards

- Ability to interpret, assimilate and apply accounting concepts.

- Exposure to ERP environment

- Analytical and Reasoning skills.

- Problem solving skills.

- Good Excel skills

Qualification: CA/ICWA qualified only - (1-3 Years exp in General Ledger Accounting post CA/ ICWA Qualified)
