Role description

The member will be a part of the Corporate Audit Function - BAA (Business Assessment and Audit) based out of Bangalore. Headquartered in Austin, Texas US, Oracle is a $40Bn Technology company engaged in Cloud, SW license, Consulting and Hardware. The Audit function has around 50 members globally with India having 10-12 members.

The team is a mix of highly specialized IT, process, privacy and data analytics professionals doing company-wide review and assessments of Oracle Lines of Business and support functions. Audits are generally complex and provides best in the class learning on technology and process; being a benchmark in the industry!

Looking out for candidates having 6-8 year experience in Data Analytics/Data Science with good understanding of Auditing in an IT/ITES industry environment. Understanding IT / Business Process controls and having worked in a role supporting the business process/business operations audits for;

- Data access, understanding of organizational tools/systems, designing analytical procedures in partnership with audit and support various process improvement initiatives.

- Develop, deploy and maintain analytical procedures using Oracle SQL Server products, Oracle Data Visualization (DV), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), ACL and other technologies (such as Robotic Process Automation tools) to deliver solutions which improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Internal Audit function.

- Engage in frequent interactions with technical team supporting business systems to understand the source data, data flows / system map / applications;

- Pilot, develop and test advanced data analytics techniques; train users; document analytic procedures; and report progress to management. Where required, participate on audits in support of the Annual Audit Plan.

DA Responsibilities

- Assist the team in planning, development and execution of Oracle SQL server, ACL, OAC and visualization based data analysis procedures to create sustainable and repeatable data analytics.

- Provide support on the existing data analytics environment and existing Visualization / Reporting Dashboard environments.

- Apply professional skepticism when assessing data sources and validate completeness and accuracy of data received.

- Act as Data Analytics Initiative team member for automation and audit support projects. Regularly inform manager, audit team and senior management of project status, issues, risks and results.
