Job Summary :
The Sales Head is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase brand awareness for the company's products. This role involves managing a team of sales professionals and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
- Manage a team of sales professionals, including hiring, training, and coaching, to ensure they meet their targets and achieve performance goals.
- Identify new sales opportunities and channels to increase revenue and drive customer acquisition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align sales efforts with company goals and objectives.
- Develop sales forecasts and budgets, monitor performance against targets, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure sales goals are met.
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, including partners, to maximize sales and drive revenue growth.
- Develop pricing and promotion strategies that align with market trends and competitive positioning.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and use insights to inform sales strategies and tactics.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
- Strong understanding of direct-to-consumer sales online and offline strategies and tactics.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Experience managing a team of sales professionals, including hiring, training, and coaching.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key accounts.
- Knowledge of sales planning and budgeting.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with key accounts and attend industry events.
