Manager Operations - Corporate Hospital/Exp 8-10yrs/Location - Mangalore

JOB PURPOSE

- To assist the DMS and Chief Operating Officer in all activities needed for ensuring smooth and proper functioning of all operating departments.

WORK RELATIONS:

- Main interfaces- with whom do you have regular contact in carrying out your duties (whom do you report to/who do you functionally report to/whom do you have interface within and outside the organization?)

- Internal Interface – Unit Head, DMS, All Consultants, Head of Departments, Hospital Staff.

- External Interface – Client Service Managers, Outsourced vendors,

CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

- List the critical accountabilities that must be achieved in order that the job purpose is fulfilled.

Overall Administration

- Set administrative process, protocols and standards for hospital functioning.

- Evolve procedure/policies for reduction in consumption of hospital consumables.

- Develop Inventory Management and Control system in Wards, OPD, Lab, Radio diagnostics.

- Monitoring and putting in place the logistics for effective functioning of Pharmacy.

- Supervision of MRD and Blood Bank for its effective functioning.

- Ensure optimal utilization of Biomedical equipment.

- Supervision of MSFM Service for its effective functioning

- Co-ordinate the work of various Departments in achieving the overall objectives of the Institution.

- Develop and support the Front Office Services and Public Relations activities.

- Achieve budgeted revenue in the areas of diagnostic services – Laboratory, and Radio diagnostics.

- Improve the occupancy level of inpatients.

- Develop and support the diagnostic services and make them centre of excellence.

- Co-ordinate with Corporate and Local Project department for completing the entire projects taken on time.

- Monitoring Canteen and Diet service.

- Any other responsibilities assigned by the COO / superiors.
