JOB SUMMARY :
Define and drive training transformation operations strategy in line with a company( life insurance company) desired business objectives and lead the team to :
- Identify opportunities that lead to enhanced operational efficiency through innovation, while maintaining foundational business goals and priorities
- Understand the virtual training delivery model and manage all processes from front to back-end to ensure seamless delivery
- Create technology strategies that are synchronized with the company's mission
- Take ownership of managing TMS and Digital Learning platform, including all integrations with tools and third-party vendors
- Drive close collaboration with internal teams, leveraging thought leadership and having a keen understanding of all expectations and priorities
- Understand and imbibe operational best practices to bring these into a company( life insurance company)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Strategy & Planning :
- Define the vision, strategy and priorities for the training operations team, in line with MLIs overall strategy of enhancing efficiency, streamlining processes, MIS & Data Analytics, using automation, while also optimizing costs.
- Provide foresight in terms of operational market or industry trends, to effectively translate the same into implementation roadmaps for the company( life insurance company) training team
- Manage end-to-end TMS implementation alongside IT and vendor team working with the Program Management office to ensure adherence to an implementation plan
- Oversee development/integration of new training interactive tools with TMS and/or Digital Learning Platform
- Oversee development of new operational policies, processes and procedures in response to, and in anticipation of, changes in the business environment
- Develop a plan to review and enhance efficiency across all operational activity, in line with the strategic priorities of the training team, ensuring seamless collaboration and operational excellence across the teams
Transformation & Innovation :
- Create and support an environment of digital innovation and best practices, ensuring optimum use of technologies for the benefit of internal and external stakeholders
- Promote the use of new digital technologies such as robotics/ automation, analytics, etc. to transform/ continuously improve the training operations and continuously enhance efficiencies
- Collaborate with other functions to identify opportunities for overall business process enhancement and drive better synergies
- Create a roadmap for innovation with relevant processes, tools and metrics to enable achievement of business objectives and new growth opportunities
Operations :
- Design end-to-end processes for reporting of data along with frequency and stakeholders, using automation where required
- Design end-to-end processes for conducting analytics on data received working with business to identify trends
- Oversee and manage all back-end operations across training, including virtual training set-up in classrooms and trainers, streamlined processes to ensure seamless virtual delivery
- Oversee performance of training operations teams to ensure adherence to service level standards
- Drive continuous process improvements & facilitate better internal synergies, by building strong relationships across the business and corporate functions
- Ensure adherence to operational risk controls across all critical processes and oversee implementation of improvement opportunities for enhanced risk mitigation
Technology :
- Would be responsible for implementing technology initiatives for the company
- Responsible for the development, maintenance and management of the digital learning environment
- Communicate the company's technology strategy to management, business managers, trainers and stakeholders.
- Derive business value from technology innovations.
- Support vendor evaluation and decisions on technology investments.
- Create a road-map for technology evolution including identifying new digital learning tools, lead and collaborating on the implementation of the road-map through multiple developments
- Ensuring all the project related deliverables are tracked and status updates are published on time as per the agreed format, frequency and quality standards
- Knowledge of App ecosystem, microlearning for education courses, course design - product/program management experience in companies in the tech-based education sector will be an advantage
People Management :

- In-depth knowledge of operations and operations management
- understanding of the global trends in back-end operations and disruptive landscape
- Technical credibility and the ability to "do" not "say" when it comes to bringing new products and services to market in agile development environments
- Knowledge of quality control mechanism - defined SLAs and TATs

Desired qualification and experience :
Minimum Education :
- MBA in business management or related field
- Bachelor's degree in operations management or related field
Desired Experience :
- Experience in management, operations, technology, innovation and leadership.
- Project Management Certification
- Minimum of eight (5) years experience in Operations with at least 5 years in a senior role in operations management
