Operations Manager - Supply Chain - Chemical Business

Key Responsibility:

1. Should be able to oversee the processes pertaining to operation, planning and SCM and avoid any slip up in the procedure

2. Responsible to support and strengthen the business operation and contribute in the SCM function to align them with overall objective of the department

3. Develop SOP of relevant processes and improve those at definite intervals

4. Set out short term and long-term production plan so as to develop and maintain resources for the processes

5. Guide and ensure the SOPs are followed in all processes and norms are maintained

6. Optimize the cost without compromising with the system requirement laid out in the SOP

7. Should be able to function as coordinator to bridge the production, planning and logistics team

8. Analyze the financial and operational hurdles to utilize resources and minimize overhead expenses.

9. Should be able to work out strategies to allow process development and encourage change management

10. Co-ordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and ensure timely delivery

- 5 - 15 years relevant industry exposure in operation but only in chemical industry, should have handled multiple product portfolio (4-5) including synthesis.

- Should also handle of team of employees which involves engineering& R&D.

- B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Tier-I college with MBA in Operations / SCM.

- Commercial and financial knowledge should be an added advantage
