Operations Manager - Rewards Finance
Rewards Finance is a global function based out of GFS Gurgaon and Financial control Sydney. The team is responsible for the end to end accounting and reporting for the remuneration arrangements globally, including the various retained equity and profit share products, and associated equity investments. The team is responsible for the following functional areas related to rewards: Financial control; - New product assessments ; - Investment accounting ; - Journals and reconciliations; - Fx exposures & Hedging ; - Invoicing and settlement - Reporting to senior management- including board reporting, policy compliance - Audit and preparation of relevant notes to Group Financial statement - Working collaboratively across various regional teams, including corporate reporting, business performance & analysis, tax, treasury, HR and risk teams Product control - Detailed reconciliations by employee - payments vs. accruals - Reconciliation of Treasury shares - Determining various rates and other parameters for employee retained plans, profit share, insurance plans etc Business performance and reporting - Forecast, strategy and budget submissions; - Management reporting - including variance actual to budgets - Reporting by various products; Operations - Managing of multiple systems, including system enhancements and change management, on- going data integrity and query management

Key responsibilities include:
Responsible for delivering key reports and performance metrics
Involved in New Product financial impact analysis where they impact our systems
Delivering the project book of work over the medium term and driving enhancements and developments in our platforms
Maintaining a strong risk and control framework across platforms
Defining specifications and working with a dedicated IT team to develop, test and release these into the production environment
Management of a various test process including system integration testing, user application testing and post verification testing
Help Identify opportunities to improve processes
People leadership including collaborative engagement across a wide range of stakeholders
Responsible for defining & maintaining efficient communication procedure with senior management and Technology teams and Business Stakeholders.
Working with both internal & external vendor teams to maintain existing platforms
About you:
You are an experienced person in financial services (specifically the Banking industry). Experience in financial accounting and technology projects is preferred.
You have the ability to act as a role model to influence the behaviour of the wider high performing team. Provide direction to people, projects and/or processes and work collaboratively and in a structured manner to maintain and enhance key technology platforms.
With strong interpersonal skills and a strong client orientation when planning and organising work.
To be successful in the role:
Degree qualification in either Accounting / Finance or
Experience in technology and enhancement or technology implementation projects in will be preferred.
Experience of working in an International environment will be an added advantage.
Minimum 7-8 years of post-qualification relevant industry experience
