Our client is one of India's largest electronic payment management services company that enables consumers to make payments online in a frictionless manner.

Position : Operations Manager - KYC

About the role :

- Responsible for running the end to end operational requirements to meet Know your Customer (KYC)/Anti Money Laundering (AML) policy norms for on-boarding & transaction monitoring.

- Responsible for on-boarding of Agents/Clients (both physical and digital) for Bharat BillPay Services (BBPS) and for Merchants for the Payment Gateway (PG) Services.

Job Responsibilities :

- Handling RBI, NPCI requirements pertaining to KYC document verification & scrutiny for all the types of entity relationships.

- Developing processes for Risk Categorisation, Re-KYC, Client due diligence, Enhanced due diligence, Deferrals etc.

- Ensuring regulatory changes for KYC operations are disseminated in a timely manner and implemented.

- Develop and maintain AML framework, policies and guidelines in line with regulatory requirements.

- Develop procedures to review, analyze and dispose of alerts in accordance with predefined rules and relevant procedures.

- Reporting of STR and other reports with the regulatory authorities.

- Addressing queries raised by the regulators during onsite Inspection as well the Internal/External Auditors and ensuring timely resolution of the same.

- Coach, mentor and motivate team members for individual development, and manage their efficiency/ output.

- Constantly improve all KYC operational processes to ensure faster turnaround and high quality delivery.

Education : Graduate / Post-graduate in Commerce / MBA (Finance) / CA

Experience :10-15 years of experience in KYC / AML in Operations dept. handling large teams

Functional Skills required :

- Sound knowledge of AML tools

- Regulatory reporting

- Quality Assurance

- Handling inspection and audit requirements

Soft Skills :

- People Management : Hiring, training, mentoring, skill development

- Stakeholder Management : Clients, regulators, auditors, business, technology, service delivery
