Operations Manager - CP - FMCG

Looking for a MNC FMCG client, Bangalore location.

Reporting to : Regional Manufacturing Head

Location : Bangalore

Direct Reportees : CP Operations Officers

Education Qualification:

Essential : BE/B.Tech (preference Food Technology)

Total Experience:

- Minimum 8-10 years in Manufacturing or Maintenance function which includes 2-3 years experience in Contract Manufacturing set-up

Industry Preference : FMCG/Beverages/Food Processing Industry (Exception for the deserving candidates)

- Should be functioning in the capacity of Operations Manager responsible for various contract manufacturing locations during last 2-3 years (Essential)

- Should have overall responsibility around complete Operations aspects involving manufacturing; quality and cost control (Essential)

- Should have exposure on contract manufacturing dynamics - conversion agreement, monitoring CP performance, consumption variance analysis etc (Essential)

Job Description for the Position of CP Operations Manager:

- Budgeting and completion of Annual Contracts with contract manufacturers. Discuss with CP on monthly production plan and ensure adherence to same.Facilitate communication between CP and Replenishment team on material supply issues. Keep close tab on plan vs actual production at CPs. and monitor the dispatch plan

- Periodically review preventive maintenance practices at CPs. Identify and prepare list of critical spares needed for machines and ensure availability of the same. Verify the impact of machine breakdown on production and initiate rectification measures in discussion with CP Officers and CP owners.

- Communicate dialogue with CPs. on the performance around quality/cost and delivery ensuring their adherence to standards

- Analyse performance of equipment and processes at CPs and initiate discussion for need form up gradation of the same.
