Operations Manager - Agri Value Chain

1. Network Development & Activation:

- Enhance farmers, cooperatives and aggregators interest in all activities and ensure that they are active in the upcountry collection centers & catchment villages

- Build capability in the systems to run their businesses effectively

- Evaluate cooperatives and aggregators performance and provide inputs to achieve greater effectiveness

- Ensure delivery of information dissemination & year-round connect with all the stake holders in an effective & sustainable manner

- Ensure that farmer communication meetings are managed effectively and on time

2. Raw Material Procurement & Supply Chain:

- Ensure that the infrastructure at the collection centers is geared to handle arrivals as per plan

- Ensure spread of buying activities across the Collection Centers

- Devise and implement systems and process to ensure that collection center functions efficiently

3. Agri-Extension & Crop Development Programme:

- Ensure Model Farm plan is implemented across Farmer Cooperatives & Aggregators and Collection Centers as agreed.

- Ensure leveraging the Model Farm platform for creating positive Farmer Cooperatives & Aggregators equity.

- Spreading the Crop Development Programme platform to newer geographies with a strategic intent of contributing to Industrial Zone Industries supply chain efficiencies

4. Agri-Input Services:

- Ensure accurate forecasting and demand aggregation for various agri-inputs for yield & production increase

- Ensure implementation and evaluation of the Sales promotion plans

5. People Development:

- Design efficient and effective team structure for delivery of expected business plan

6. Pilots & New Initiatives:

- Ensure effective roll-out of new initiatives through the network.

- Gather feedback and provide inputs in order to fine-tune strategies

7. Business Analysis, Process Controls & Reporting:

- Ensure implementation of the documentation system within his area by carrying out the required audits in terms of timeliness, accuracy, compliance etc.

- Ensure 100% Statutory, licensing and other Systems & Processes Compliance

8. Business Liasioning and Ecosystem:

- Develop a professional relationship with Govt. Officials (Mayor, Agri-Minister, Trade & Commerce Minister, Research bodies, certifying & testing bodies etc.) within the country by ensuring that the Asst. Operations Managers, Collection Centers team and self-meeting them at least twice a year.
