Urgent Opening - Operations Lead - Big4


Core Responsibilities :


- As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to :

- Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans

- Partner with internal cross functional teams such as HC Leadership, Finance, Global Strategic Sourcing, and Procurement to develop, implement and manage budgets, compliance policies, protocols, controls, and continuous improvement of operational processes

- Work closely with LOS and HC leader to build presentation packs and support implementation of x-LoS.

- Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary.

- Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands.

- Work independently and lead functional teams in delivery of day-to-day operations and delivery of Business Operations services to internal clients and business partners.

- Source talent for strategic deployment opportunities in conjunction with Talent Management and Business Unit HR leaders.

- Collaborate in the development and implementation of Business Operations policies, procedures, processes and protocols in support of the goals of the organization

- Promote and encourage others to value difference when working in diverse teams.

- Drive and take ownership for developing connections that help deliver what is best for our people and stakeholders.

- Influence and facilitate the creation of long-term relationships which add value to the firm.

- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

People Responsibilities :

- Responsible for achieving targets on process standardization and implementation of process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

- Collaborate with BU leadership to improve and sustain higher utilization through analysis of potential cross teaming opportunities and cross skilling

- Create actionable deliverables for change management - communications plans, sponsor roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans, resistance management plans.

- Manage stakeholders at all organizational levels, with emphasis on the use of active listening skills and communication abilities, both written and verbal, to articulate messages to various audiences clearly.

- Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity.

- Responsible for developing innovative solutions for increased productivity/utilization.

- Build and foster high quality relationship with engagement team and territory teams Leadership Attributes

Soft skills :

- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with tax professionals of diverse backgrounds.

- Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success

Experience preferable in these areas :

- Experience in leading the Operations teams of other Big4 in India would be of added advantage

- Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software (e.g., SAP, ERP)

- Experience of leading large teams and a desire to actively develop team members.

Qualification : MBA from a premier Institute with PMP certification
