Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. The Operations Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our supply chain, control tower, and logistics operations for our clients, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize processes, enhance performance, and ensure seamless execution. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of supply chain management principles, coupled with proficiency in data analysis and software tools.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to supply chain, control tower, and logistics operations.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track key metrics such as on-time delivery, inventory levels, transportation costs, and warehouse efficiency.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement, presenting actionable insights to stakeholders.
Process Optimization:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the supply chain.
- Propose and implement solutions to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational performance.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate process improvements, measuring their impact on key metrics.
Supply Chain Visibility:
- Utilize control tower technology and data analytics to provide real-time visibility into the end-to-end supply chain.
- Monitor the movement of goods, inventory levels, and transportation status to proactively identify and address issues.
- Work closely with suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners to ensure alignment and adherence to service level agreements.
System Maintenance and Enhancement:
- Serve as a subject matter expert for our supply chain management software platform, providing support and training to end-users as needed.
- Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot system issues, implement enhancements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of new features and functionalities based on user feedback and industry trends.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with stakeholders across departments such as operations, logistics, procurement, and customer service to align goals and priorities.
- Participate in regular meetings and discussions to share insights, address challenges, and drive collaborative problem-solving efforts.
