Opportunity Overview

We are currently looking for an Operational Risk Management Specialist with 6 to 10 years of experience for positions available in KSA (Saudi Arabia) and Qatar. The role requires professionals who can effectively perform risk assessments, execute Risks & Controls Self-Assessments (RCSA), and ensure control assurance across products, services, and third-party arrangements within our clients' organizations. This role is crucial for enhancing our clients' operational risk frameworks and ensuring that risk management practices are deeply embedded within their operational processes. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong foundation in operational risk management, including risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and the ability to influence a culture of risk awareness and accountability throughout the organization. This is a 12 month (extendable) contract role.

What You Will Be Doing

- Performing comprehensive risk assessments of products, services, and third-party arrangements.

- Executing RCSAs and Control Assurance with the goal of identifying potential risks and ensuring the effectiveness of controls.

- Documenting and coordinating RCSAs under the guidance of the client's Operational Risk Department.

- Designing and conducting control tests in alignment with the client's methodology.

- Leading the refresh of previously completed RCSAs to ensure they remain relevant and effective.

- Planning and executing a Risk Assessment and testing program to systematically evaluate risks and controls.

- Facilitating risk and control assessments to engage stakeholders in understanding and managing operational risks.

- Testing the operating effectiveness of controls and reporting the results to relevant stakeholders.

- Following up on remediation/mitigation actions or risk acceptance decisions to ensure risks are managed appropriately.

Your Background

- Experience: 4 to 10 years of proven experience in Operational Risk Management.

- Skills: Strong knowledge of risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and operational risk and control assessment methodologies. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.

Location: Positions available in KSA and Qatar.
