Operation Manager - Fund Accounting - BFSI

Role :

- Manage an Operations team in Fund Administration .

- Set and monitor team goals, liaise with clients/ investment managers.

- Implement continuous improvement plans, placing emphasis on accuracy and timeliness of NAV/FR delivery through a results orientated mind set.

- Determine the unit goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop programs to enhance the skills of the staff.

Responsibility :

- Manages fund accounting/ financial reporting/regulatory reporting operations unit or function.

- Maintain effective communication channels at all levels.

- Monitor and ensure accuracy and timeliness of client deliverables.

- Conducts the performance management process, identifies training and development needs, and establishes performance standards for the unit including business objectives.

Skills :

- Good communication.

- Strong accounting and reporting knowledge.

- Approachable and able to promote teamwork through creative solutions.

- Market data vendors knowledge.

- Deep understanding of process and process improvement.

- Thorough knowledge of relevant regulatory environment.

- Good understanding of capital markets and financial instruments.
