Opening with Leading Auto Component Manufacturer in Wheel Rims and Sheet metal.  Department: Operations  Report to: MD  Functional Summary/ Position summary:  - Control & monitor production planning and ensure all the resource allocation.  - Achieve Productivity Improvement for Car Lines / Tractor line/ Paint shops/Press Shop/ Tool Room.  - Monitor for ensuring TS compliances, MIS generation, machine loading plan,  - Review production and quality plan Vs. actuals, generation & monitoring of productivity improvement plan, CFT coordination.  - Ensuring 5s & safety implementation at shop floor, training to sub- ordinates.  - Assist for erections & commissioning of new machines  - Should have good knowledge of Welding of various types ARC, CO2, Resistance, Gas etc. and various types of presses.   - Should be conversant with JIT, Lean, TS-16949, KAIZENS, Quality circle, 5s, TQM etc.  - Should have knowledge about cold forming operations, and machining processes like Drilling, boring, milling, turning.  - Must Plan and Improve OEE of The Plant.  - Maintaining cost as per budget.  Key responsibilities:   - Monitor quality & quantity of production  - Planning & Study of daily /monthly plan by PPC and Monitor the Production.  - Trials of new products /assist in product development.  - 5S / KAIZENS / SMED quick change over activities introduction.  - Process Modifications & development.  - Production Management - P.P.C, man management, support function coordination, generating and analyzing production reports, Controlling WIP, Troubleshooting.   - Collection and analysis of critical data viz. Production output. Downtime, Generate weekly and monthly production reports for management review.  - Customer complaints study and CAPA  - Increase in OEE   - Production control by establishing critical control points on production line  - Jigs & Fixtures development, Design & development of material handling systems  - Low cost automation Design & development   - Organizing and Imparting training on various technical & management subjects
