Job description

Onsitego is a leader in its sector and looking for an experienced and passionate Head of L&D, in Mumbai to oversee and execute the learning and development roadmap for the company.

The company is fast growing and requires someone who understands the pulse of both people and business.

To be successful in this role, you should have good experience in leading teams, and good knowledge of learning and development best practices. You will be responsible for developing and executing the L&D strategy and providing sound advice to people managers on all related subjects.

Responsibilities:

- Work with HR and Customer Experience to create and execute the group level Learning strategy, with a clear focus on organizational culture, strategy and leadership as key drivers of Organizational success

- Focus on building and enhancing leadership & managerial capabilities of mid to senior Managers across functions, business & geographies aligned to organizational imperatives

- Applying frameworks and tools of Adult Development Psychology, specifically Action/Leadership Logics and Action Inquiry to impact Personal and Organization transformation

- Be the internal OD & change consultant to Business/Functional Leaders on executive leadership, team effectiveness and organizational change

- Lead diagnostics, in sighting and need gathering to identify and define development needs for individuals/ teams/functions for today, and, what may be required by businesses over the next 3-5 years

- Be a learning coach for identified talent pool members to help them implement their individual learning plan and direct them to relevant resources both internal & external

- Facilitate workshops, design & deliver TTT.

- Develop and implement consistent methods and metrics to measure the effectiveness of learning interventions

- Manage a team of L&D professionals by providing direction and functional expertise for the portfolio to deliver to the organization mandate

- Conduct market research into existing Academies/Corporate universities, workplace learning in India/ abroad, to understand and adopt best practices & learnings. Identify appropriate delivery partners and create working relationships with them to deliver the solutions

- Continually assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries and market. Amend and revise programs as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment (especially in post COVID economy)

- Develop a learning organization culture that supports and drives change and reinforces innovation, performance, and continuous improvement

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Post-graduate from premium B-school with understanding of leadership development in large and diversified businesses OR a Post Graduate/PHD in Organizational Behavior/Psychology. Minimum 15 years relevant experience

- Experience of designing & facilitating programs for a diverse group from different organizations & Culture

A certified Coach

- Certified in Personality tools/Assessments

- The person should possess knowledge through direct experience of learning concepts, training and development methods and techniques, in particular adult learning processes, instructional design techniques and evaluation/development methodologies

- Ability to understand the fundamental drivers of the business and the industry

- Commitment to improving own knowledge and skills and a passion for continuous learning

Leadership / Managerial Attributes:

- Demonstrated success as a learning leader; should have worked in a similar role and spearheaded leadership development for an organization

- A person with gravitas & functional credibility to be the go-to person for all development needs of the organization

- Collaborative individual who can drive partnership, alignment and communication across functional, business and geographic lines at all levels.

- Ability to influence and gain support from key stakeholders

- Ability to work with systems, processes, people and other organizational realities

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and accomplishing multiple tasks
