Ondot Systems - Product Manager - Platform & Cloud Services

- The Platform Product Manager (PPM) partners with business product managers and other stake holders in the design, development, Implementation and Operations of the cloud platform managed by Ondot in AWS. PPM will drive product vision, work closely with our cross-functional teams to define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups and guide the team through key milestones.

- The PPM should be able to analyze market trends, latest capabilities available, business product requirements and write the non-functional & functional specifications required for the successful operation of Ondot cloud. PPM should provide senior technical contribution, specializing in designing and implementing digital transformation and modernization solutions that run in the cloud for external clients.

- This role requires deep knowledge of different technology like AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins Ci/CD, Security tools & more to perform the day-to-day function. This role works closely with the stakeholders to provide technical ownership over business applications and drive the design, deployment, configuration, support & maintenance of innovative high-quality solutions.

What you will do:

- Define and drive cloud and on-prem platform strategy and roadmap including Automation, Monitoring, Security, Compliance & More.

- Partner with the business product managers & other stake holders to develop a vision, strategy and prioritized feature backlog for digital platform. Ensure cohesion across all product lines on their platform. Evangelize long-term strategy to the development teams, the product and business teams and the broader organization.

- Draft project charters, requirements, Agile epics and stories, with prioritized features and specifications, while incorporating inputs from all stakeholders. Ensure release goals and commitments are understood by all affected teams.

- They will own execution of the cloud & Platform roadmap and collaborate with a cross-functional team of product managers, software engineers, and business operations to ensure we deliver on the business goals.

- Be the conscience of the Platform, continuously looking at the services from an end-user's perspective; driving the complete experience, to best outcome possible for the end-user. Ensure the customer experience is represented as a top priority throughout all stages of development.

- Partner with Program Managers and Engineering Leadership to ensure a manageable scope that can be delivered on-time, on-budget, on-quality.

- Oversee the care and feeding of the platform, ensure all aspects of the platform receive attention, including technical debt and infrastructure as well as new features.

- Work with teams to maintain and prioritize the backlog for a Platform service.

- Guide the implementation of new features from ideation to release.

- Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to cloud and platform teams to build cloud competencies

- Interfaces with cross-functional technical stakeholders to gather non-functional requirements with platform architecture, security, compliance, infrastructure, application support, and release management.

- Maintain technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights

- Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.

What you should have :

- 12+ years of industry experience

- 8+ years of experience in product management, architecture, design, & operations of complex application architectures in AWS

- Experience in writing product requirement for AWS technologies following NIST standards, such as SP 800-53, SP 800-190, and SP 500-291.

- Strong Working knowledge of infrastructure as code frameworks, such as Terraform, CloudFormation to include writing templates and modules from scratch and experience with configuration management frameworks such as Ansible.

- Strong Operations knowledge and experience.

- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and hands-on experience in containerizing software applications; experience working with container orchestration and deployment platforms such as Kubernetes, AWS EKS or AWS ECS.

- Experience with writing requirement for implementing and managing CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild, GoCD or similar tools.

- Experience writing end to end monitoring requirements understanding the product suites

- Analytical problem-solving skills with an impeccable attention to detail

- Execution and delivery-oriented. Comfortable with ambiguity, context switching between different types of work (administrative, people, project, operations, etc)

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education Requirements:

- Bachelor's in computer science, information systems or a related field of study.

Certification Requirements:

- Cloud Certification on AWS

- Platform Certifications
