We are looking for a strong experienced Project management candidate in Credit risk or market risk domain

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform business analysis to help define solution options and recommendations

- Coordinate with global business partners in understanding and translating requirements

- Gather and document requirements, review with business partners, and attain signoff

- Coordinate user acceptance testing for business users including preparing test scripts, validating test completion and signoff

- Build key project documents such as end-to-end current/future business process flows, use cases, BRD/FRD, cost/benefit analysis

- Seek to identify and document process changes and system enhancements

- Establish solid relationships with various functions and businesses throughout the IB

- Facilitate working groups tasked with solving specific data challenges within the organization

Resource Management:

- Priorities work effectively for him/herself and other matrix team members (often with indirect reporting lines)

- Take on the responsibility of assigning oneself with urgency to accommodate tight deadlines set by themselves or by other partners or regulators

- Ability to plan and organize workload when working to tight deadlines and maintain a clear head when faced with multiple conflicting priorities

Project Management:

- Develop project plans with realistic timeframes and resourcing to ensure delivery to agreed time and budget

- Organize resources and/or teams in multiple offices by effectively structuring and prioritizing work packages

- Establish and adhere to appropriate project governance including forums to efficiently manage change delivery

- Track project achievements to agreed timelines, monitor risks, assumptions, issues & dependencies and effect appropriate reporting to clear blockages and drive progress

- Create clear and unambiguous status reports and proposals as necessary with messaging to succinctly summarize a topic and drive decision-making at a senior level

- Ability and willingness to get into the detail where required in order to demonstrate ownership and understanding of project objectives and business partner requirements

- Experience in structuring projects with expertise in analysis, specification gathering, capturing of requirements

- Effect change control and ensure good governance through recording of decisions and capturing of audit trails

- Evidence of managing varying sized projects, including successful track record of delivery on complex projects and projects in multiple offices

Stakeholder-Management:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; must be capable of interacting positively with senior business management, department heads and vendors

- Experience of building and maintaining outstanding relationships when dealing directly with project partners both internally and externally

- Able to build strong relationships and build consensus with other functions and business-units and to interface and influence senior managers in the organization

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

- Degree level education or equivalent experience

- 6 or more years as a Business Analyst with a consulting firm within financial services or in an international investment bank or similar institution

- Proficient in project management and/or business analysis methodologies

- Investment banking experience

- Experience of project management methodologies in practice

- Outstanding documentation skills

- Understanding of the full project implementation and system/ software development lifecycle

- Knowledge of investment banking products, post trade execution business processes and front-to-back office functions

- Experience in working on regulatory projects

- Ability to explain complex issues to suit the audience in a clear and concise manner

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience working within Banking/Financial industry with knowledge of Investment Banking Operations processes

- Knowledge of Risk Reporting process including Market risk and Credit Risk

- An understanding of Resolution and Recovery plan (RRP)
