JOB PURPOSE / PRIMARY OVERVIEW :

- The primary purpose of this role is to lead and play a pivotal role in fostering employee engagement, championing diversity and inclusion initiatives, promoting employee wellness & work life balance, advancing women @ work -related initiatives, driving policy related awareness including prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace, and overseeing a team responsible for driving fun at work, leader connect programs, administering Reward and Recognition programs, drive ESAT survey outcome based action planning in collaboration with team HR and business leaders to enhance employee satisfaction, and oversee all other internal and external employee related events. The role holder should be a creative thinker, an effective communicator, and a proactive advocate for positive change within our organization.

- This role will work closely with global and regional HR teams and senior stakeholders of the business & enabling functions, to deliver communications on a broad spectrum of employee engagement, wellness and DEI priorities and focus on their delivery methods to enhance employee engagement, employee retention, employee wellness, diversity & inclusion, and employee satisfaction / NPS.

WORK RELATIONS

Internal Interface - All functions in all geographies

External Interface - Service Providers / External Firms or Consultants in the domain of employee engagement, Diversity and inclusion, Advancing Women etc.

CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Employee Engagement:

- Develop and implement creative strategies to drive employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive work culture.

- Plan and organize fun at work activities, internal events, and leader connect programs to enhance employee morale and teamwork.

Diversity & Inclusion:

- Champion the organization's diversity and inclusion framework and initiatives.

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization with a special focus on Women, LGBTQI, PWD

- Provide guidance and support to various departments to ensure diversity and inclusion goals are met.

Advancing Women-related Initiatives (Under the banner of DEI & Roshni):

- Lead and advance initiatives focused on empowering women in the workplace, including organizing webinars specifics to health, pre and post-natal care etc

- Collaborate with internal and external partners to implement programs that support the professional growth and development of women employees.

- Identify and address barriers to women's advancement within the organization and propose effective solutions.

Employee Wellness:

- Develop and implement wellness programs that support the physical, financial, mental, and emotional well-being of employees.

- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to provide resources, workshops/ webinars, and initiatives that promote a healthy work-life balance.

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Reward and Recognition Program Administration & Execution:

- In collaboration with HR COE & HRBP leaders, develop, implement, and administer a comprehensive reward and recognition program to acknowledge and celebrate employee contributions and achievements.

- Take the lead in planning and organizing quarterly and annual reward ceremonies to recognize and appreciate employee accomplishments.

- Develop event plans, including venue selection, logistics, scheduling, and budget management.

- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the smooth execution of reward ceremonies, create engaging and inspiring award presentations and speeches.

- Communicate and promote reward ceremonies to employees, ensuring maximum participation and engagement in collaboration with internal communications team.

Team Management:

- Oversee and manage a team located in multiple cities, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to team members (4-5-member team)

- Set performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide feedback to ensure the team's success.

- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Other responsibilities:

- Publish monthly/ quarterly dash boards, newsletter and insights to leaders and stakeholders on the engagement, D&I, Wellness initiatives undertaken.

- Serve as an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) member responsible for managing and preventing sexual harassment at the workplace.

- Conduct investigations, handle complaints, and provide support and guidance to employees involved in harassment cases.

- Driving policy related awareness including prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace in a creative and engaging way

- Review the outcome of annual ESAT survey results, drive action planning and track the progress in collaboration with business leaders, HRBPs with respect to enhancing employee engagement - what is working well, actions on areas of improvement, engagement trends etc.

- Periodically monitor and track all types of engagement program participation, award distribution, and feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.

- Participate as the team member in other strategic projects and people initiatives in the organization, as required.

- To lead and manage any other new employee engagement related projects for the entire organization assigned from time to time / engagement of employees as part of merger and acquisition etc by working closely with the top management, business unit heads, all other stakeholders, and the HR leaders.

- Ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of all data dealt in course of work

SUPERVISION :

Direct Reports: Internal HR Events team (4-5 members team)

Indirect Reports: Not Applicable

KEY SUCCESS FACTOR : Effective employee engagement, tracking and reporting employee engagement scores both from ESAT Survey and AI based engagement platforms, participation footfalls on various engagement program, response rate and related measures on a continuous basis. Enhanced NPS cores, ESAT and thereby reduce attrition levels.

KNOWLEDGE :

- Proven experience in driving employee engagement, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and employee wellness programs.

- Relevant experience in a strategic HR employee engagement/communications role with an experience in driving digital engagement, gamification of engagement programs etc.

- Proven track record in creating and maintaining employee engagement strategies and plans; devising and implementing, effective, result-oriented employee engagement projects and programmes.

- Experience as a member of an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) or managing sexual harassment prevention is highly desirable.

- Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and best practices related to diversity, inclusion, employee engagement, and workplace wellness.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES :

- Excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) and analytical skills

- Experience in making presentations (both verbal and written) to key stakeholders using high quality visuals.

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES :

- Excellent Communication and presentation skills

- Networking and Influencing skills

- Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to manage to timelines effectively

- Self-starter, strong team player and ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and senior leadership.
