OMC Power - Head - Operational Efficiency

Reports To: CEO (Uttar Pradesh)

Location: Lucknow

Job Overview:

Overall responsibility for efficient running and maintenance of all Renewable energy sites; and distribution networks. Optimizing company assets for production; generation and distribution of Energy to Telecom towers and Mini grids.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Overall responsible for operations and maintenance of all OMC plants including Mini grids.

- Enhancing optimum generation of Solar output across plants through initiatives; monitoring and corrective actions

- Improving diesel filling parameters in gensets as and when needed including Formulation of monthly diesel targets and planning/coordination / execution of diesel filling operations.

- Delivery of services as per stipulated SLAs to telecom and Mini grid customers

- Mentoring a team of Plant manpower towards better productivity of plants

- First level maintenance including management of day-to-day functioning of all plants, machinery, Mini grid infrastructure and adherence to Company's O & M manuals and processes by all staff, related to the entire infrastructure deployed in the states of UP.

- Stakeholder management related to telecom and Mini grid businesses in the states of UP.

- Responsible for safety and security of all stakeholders in the states of UP including but not limited to employees, consultants, outsources manpower, Mini grid customers, vendors, subcontractors, telecom customers etc. relating to all plants and Mini grids.

- Best in class solar factor

- Smooth running of plants without malfunctions

- Maintenance of equipment

- Ensure minimum dependence on fossil fuel.

- Ensure adherence to the routines as per O&M business processes.

- Management of field manpower deployed at plants, clusters and areas offices

Qualifications & experience:

- B.Tech with over 9 years' experience in handling an Operational Efficiency role.

- Having handled multiple site/ tower operations in Telecom, Energy sector.

Other attributes:

- Experience in managing a distributed infrastructure

- Should be able to manage and motivate a large team

- Job will also involve extensive travel to plants within UP. Rural experience.

- Good communication skills with Hindi speaking.
