It consists of 27 countries/markets, 8 brands and has over 2000 employees globally. - Currently OLX ALMEA Markets is looking to hire a driven Financial Planning &amp; Analysis (FP&amp;A) leader supporting the global teams, and be a business partner to the Business Unit's Group CFO. Job Description: This role will be reporting to OLX ALMEA CFO, based in Gurgaon, India. You will be responsible for: - Providing senior management team of ALMEA BU and OLX Group with timely analysis and information they need to make major operational, financial, and strategic decisions. - Leading the regular/monthly financial reporting process for ALMEA BU - reports, forecast models, financial statements variance analysis, and other financial performance tools. - Running the annual budgeting process and regular financial forecasting process for the BU. - Liaisoning with OLX Group HQ and the various BU's regional finance teams regularly to accomplish necessary tasks. - Partnering with the regional businesses in ALMEA to monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance in order to deliver on financial commitments. - Evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI of new projects and strategic investments. - Developing financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives. - Preparing presentations to senior management team. - Supporting the broader OLX Group and OLX ALMEA businesses in implementing broader strategies and delivering on financial commitments. - Supporting the ALMEA CFO with special/ad-hoc projects. - Hiring, leading and developing finance resources within the company. Ideal Candidate : - Educational qualification: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Engineering, or Business Administration; an academically rigorous MBA and/or CA is highly desirable. - Proven track record in senior/regional financial-management role at an organization with a growth and agile culture, with an extensive exposure to FP&amp;A, and some commercial activities. - 12+ years of relevant work experience. You should be ideally coming from an e-Commerce/digital economy background or should have worked within e-commerce/digital economy for a substantial part of your overall experience. - Capable of handling and intelligently analyzing a mountain of different types of data and data evaluation metrics. Proficient with MS Excel. - Strategic mindset and hands-on attitude, with a strong attention to details. - It would be advantageous if you have had exposure to partnering with regional/global stakeholders. - You should possess influential communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills to be successful in this role. - You should have an experience of ensuring deliverables under short deadlines. - You should have the drive to deliver above and beyond the call of duty and must possess a solution oriented and ambitious attitude. - Team player with a strong commitment to foster a culture of collaboration, performance, transparency and integrity. - Open to travel for work, as necessary.
