Headline : Legal Counsel, OLX Cashmycar We are looking for a Legal Counsel to be part of our legal team in our recently launched convenient transactions vertical. The role will be involved in day to day working of the legal department and will support various stakeholders. We- re a team of 5,000 ambitious, curious people building marketplace platforms that make it super easy for anyone to buy and sell almost anything, boosting local economies. What you will be doing: - Solving day to day legal problems of a fast-paced customer facing business - Providing legal assistance to the business team in relation to operational issues, recovery matters, executive overreach, consumer and supplier disputes, litigation, etc. - Helping the company navigate through competitive threats and transgressions. - Liaison with various law enforcement and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless operations; and - Formulating and implementing company's policies while enabling quick scaling of the business. Who we are looking for : Well rounded problem solver with good project and stakeholder management skills, eager to work and learn in a fast-paced business. People with previous work experience with fast paced businesses and the ability to negotiate through uncertainties. Prior experience in dealing with regulators and law enforcement across the country is a must. The role is expected to be an individual contributor and should be ready to make the coffee (pick up smallest of tasks) while being responsible to the business management.
