Job Description : Product Manager - Fraud
Role Objective : The role directly reports to CPO and will be responsible for building a comprehensive system around fraud detection spanning all the stakeholders in the Ola ecosystem (Drivers, aggregators/ operators, vendors, customers, employees)
Years of experience : 8-12 yrs with 5+ years in product management in the eCommerce space / enterprise banking space/ credit cards business
Education qualification : Bachelor's degree in CS/ Quantitative studies or related field, MBA preferred
Responsibilities :
- Identify all possible points in the value chain where fraud is a possibility through extensive research, analysis of available data sets and through discussions / observations with stakeholders
- Identify mechanisms to collect whatever data is necessary which will be analysed to drive insights into future strategy around fraud detection and prevention
- Engage and partner with core product teams leveraging competitive intel, rider behaviour or other business metrics to build mechanisms which will detect and prevent fraud
- Drive cross-functional team to set qualitative objectives and quantitative goals to drive theses engines effectively
- Drive deliverables planning (roadmap) and design of entirely new Ola products and product features to reduce the risk of fraud
- Monitor and measure launched products/ features and feed learnings back into fraud engine
