KRAs
- Responsible for end to end fleet management at OLA Leasing. Taking care of day to day operations like handling issues related to cars, mobile devices and documents.
- Ordering and maintaining parts, devices that are key for smoothly running the business. In-charge of handling complete documentation for the business including driver documents, vehicle documents and insurance etc. and maintaining an up to date repository for the same.
- Take care of ongoing vendor relationships and identifying new vendors and onboarding them with the objective of decreasing cost and turnaround time in procurement, services etc.
- Optimizing established processes and ways of working with the goal of achieving efficiency in the Operations and thereby reduce Driver/Vehicle downtime. Develop the existing team through knowledge transfer and on job training.
- Building a pro-vendor brand - Retain Ola as the preferred choice amongst operators and driver partners by ensuring a win-win for every stakeholder. Identify newer and innovative ways to engage partners continuously.
- Competitive Understanding - Keep a close watch on the competitive landscape of the city. Seize opportunities to adapt pricing, talent and business model.
- Building an A- Team - Responsible for hiring and managing a team that will consistently achieve / exceed growth targets.
- Demand Forecasting - Manage and own metrics that objectively monitor the supply side of business. Balance inventory growth with demand to ensure optimization.
- Cross-functional approach - Directly coordinate with all support functions including product, marketing and analytics.
Skills Required (Technical, Soft Skills, Specific Tools, Personality Traits)
- Aptitude with strong analytical skills is essential. Have good reporting skills (MS Office)
- Should be able to think unconventionally, outside of the regular.
- Execution oriented - getting things done on ground. Has a go-getter attitude.
- Obsession to quality. Implementation of Six Sigma in the past can be an advantage.
- Managed a closely-knit community of influencers (eg. Channel Partners / OEM / Drivers / etc.)
- Has effectively managed a large team in the past and is objective approach towards goal-setting and monitoring.
Candidate Background Required (Education & Experience)
Education/ Qualification - Graduate. MBA can be an advantage.
- Prior experience managing cross-functional teams.
- 4+ years experience in procurement /inventory management / fleet management
- Experience in handling high volume transactions & large team
- Strong People Management Skills
- Strong analytical skills and orientation to understanding numbers
- Excellent communication skills, Ability to do multi-tasking and deal with multi stakeholders
- Successfully executed business development opportunities and negotiated partnerships.
- Experience in early-stage startup environments would be an advantage
