Education Qualification - Graduation (Certification /Professional Accreditation Required Supply Chain)

Job Summary:

Responsible for Production and material planning and acts as a interface between the supply and demand sides of the business.

Key Result Areas (Accountability & Responsibility of the role)

- Work with management in coordinating and planning production activities to improve runtime.

- Escalate complex issues to Manager for resolution.

- Investigate production problem, analyze root causes and provide solutions.

- Analyze back orders, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan, and schedule the production operations.

- Plan inventory management processes to avoid shortages and excesses.

- Monitor production progress and ensure that final product meets quality standards and customer specifications.

- Preparing cost estimates and performance reports.

- Evaluate suppliers or quality, timeliness and match according to goals

- Manage deadlines based on project expectations

- Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, supplier payments, etc.

- Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.

Key Skills Required:

- Prior experience in the Industry in Production Planning and Control with ability to work in multi-product, multi-variant, multi plant and multi-region scenarios

- Knowledge of systems and softwares like ERP (SAP preferred), JIRA and MS Office Suite- Excel, Word, PowerPoint

- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills

- Strong regard for product quality and safety standards

- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong regard for product quality and safety standards

- Good understanding of the industry market trends and conditions

Software/Tools/System Exposure - Strong exposure to ERP Systems like SAP, Oracle

- Exposure to planning modules of MES in Production scheduling and sequencing for multi variant models is preferred

- Knowledge of Collaborative tools like JIRA is preferred
