Job Description- AM/Manager Taxation (Indirect/Direct-70/30% Mix):  Preparation and filing of periodic Service Tax, multi-state VAT and TDS returns  TDS deductions on vendor payments and clarifications to Finance team and assist in resolution of vendor queries, including payments to foreign vendors  Preparation of Form 15CA in relation to foreign currency payments and obtaining 15CB certificate from Chartered Accountant.  Litigation support and assistance in drafting and filing submissions before various Income Tax, Service Tax and VAT authorities.  Other Indirect Tax compliance viz. obtaining new or amended registrations, department intimations on change of business, address, etc.  Assistance in handling Tax Assessments at various levels & working on collating information being asked at various level of Proceedings.  Reconciliation of monthly tax GLs & passing necessary Tax accounting entries.   Preparation and updation of monthly tax and litigation tracker for all group entities.  Dealing with auditors for Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, various other audits as per statute and ensure successful closure of all open points.  Interfacing with external Auditors, Vendors, Customers, Bankers, Consultants, etc.  Working knowledge on preparation of Computation of Income, Income Tax Return, Deferred Tax Computation, Domestic transfer pricing documentation, advance tax computation, etc.,  Working knowledge of Oracle and Tally shall be preferred.  Excellent ability to communicate and work with functional heads and divisional in-charge to implement system and processes.  Take up ownership and responsibility to ensure compliance in respect of taxation matters.  To update the stake holders on tax amendments and pronouncements for tighter controls & adequate understanding of the stakeholders towards taxation matters.  Assistance in preparation of financial statements and account reconciliations more specific from taxation perspective.  Big 4 tax experience and Law Firm experience shall be preferred.
