Ola is committed to its mission of building mobility for a billion people. Using the Ola mobile app, users across 110 cities can book from over 6,00,000 vehicles across cabs, auto-rickshaws, and taxis. Ola has also introduced a range of shared mobility services on its platforms like Ola Shuttle and Ola Share for commute and ride-sharing respectively. The app is available on Windows, Android, and iOS platforms.

Role & Responsibilities

- Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies

- Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously

- Revise procedures, reports, etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues

- Draft, modify and implement company policies

- Collaborate with corporate counsels and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations

- Assess the business's future ventures to identify possible compliance risks

- Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training

- Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control

- Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate

- To have a clear understanding of IT systems (Jira, IMS, Zendesk)

- Identify solutions that will solve for the regulatory gaps as well as build preventive action plans via process fixes, product/tech solutions

- Drive Project/Program Management coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for smooth execution of compliance plans/gap assessment closures around the product, data platforms, SOPs

Requirements

- In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations

- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record-keeping

- Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities

- An analytical mind able to - see the complexities of procedures and regulations

- Bachelor's Degree in Law/Finance/Business Administration

- Excellent communication skills

- Certified compliance professional is a plus

- PMP/Lean Six Sigma Certification is a plus

- Certified Internal Auditor is a plus
