OLA - Manager - Quality Assurance - Software Testing

Key Roles/Responsibilities :

- End to end ownership of a Quality Engineering team, including development of test frameworks and automation.

- Building and reviewing test plans, test cases and test results.

- Managing a team of SDETs that are responsible for building and maintaining tools for testing of our product.

- Ensuring quality and operational excellence

- Creating team metrics for measurement of quality and process excellence and a consistent process for assessment and improvement on all fronts.

- Reduce time to market, while gradually building a robust and reliable quality gate for all our products.

- Mentoring and developing SDETs to ensure their professional growth.

- Show thought leadership, and great stakeholder management.

- Participate in the employee review process for direct reports.

- Stepping in to resolve blocker issues during the testing cycle whether they are software or environmental based.

Experience & Skills Required :

- Bachelor and/or Masters degree in Computer Science or any Engineering Discipline or equivalent experience

- Passion for being at the leading edge of technology with a minimum of 10+ years of hands on software development Testing and/or delivery experience

- 4-7+ years technical management experience of software Testing teams that have successfully delivered customer-driven software products with highest quality.

- 5+ years of experience in delivering automation solution with open source tools

- Demonstrated experience leading positive change, empowering people, cultivating product technology visions and innovative solutions, and fostering effective engineering teams.

- Adept at articulating the quality vision and drive change with strong business acumen

- 5+ years of delivery experience with Agile software development methodologies

- Solid experience in Object-Oriented Design and programming concepts in Java or other language

- Solid understanding of industry wide testing tools/services

- Ability to think and act strategically for all stakeholders

- Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills

- Experience in deploying applications in AWS/Azure cloud, Kubernetes, Docker etc

- Self-starter, hustler and a desire to achieve greatness
