Manager - Decision Science

Key Roles/Responsibilities :

- Design and deliver solutions using business analytics in a fast paced, next generation banking environment.

- Evaluate and apply machine learning algorithms and the fundamentals of consumer lending to build credit risk models for unsecured lending with a unique value proposition.

- Perform model review in collaboration with analysts and work with business and risk owners in meeting the bottom line business objective, decide the suitable approach for model development, identify and validate the appropriate data source, implementation, dynamic model validation, continuous monitoring etc.

- Implement the models along with the engineering team and enable the infrastructure development for analytical decisioning.

- Approach the challenges in a passionate, innovative and decisive manner, provide problem structuring and identify the right next steps for incisive insights.

Experience & Skills Required :

- 5+ years of experience in large banks in India/Overseas, NBFC or similar

- At least 2+ years hands on experience developing models in credit risk

- Excellent knowledge of scorecards, strategies and risk management preferably for unsecured loans.

- Experience in risk management of 2-3 different lending products preferably unsecured across the lifecycle of consumer credit

- Possess strong analytical skills with past history of engaging with business stakeholders

- In depth knowledge in SAS, SQL and other database for data mining.

- Exposure and knowledge of R or Python
