The Consumer Insights Manager is a key role that will ensure that business, product and marketing teams are always equipped with the right insights and research data to build the right solutions and take them to market effectively. Key Responsibilities : - Own the insights generation and key user understanding metrics across OFS business and product lines including, but not limited to, product and concept development, communication development, mix validation, optimisation and more. - Own process from brief to insight delivery including brief refinement &amp; issues as well as the final output, both from timelines as well as quality. Scope and identify the appropriate methodology for research to identify the right TG and relevant insights o Manage timelines and quality control regarding data capture instruments, data gathering, analysis cuts for reporting, reporting specs for multiple projects. - Drive an Insights led culture within the organization through coaching of peers on how to read and use the data that is available. Need to ensure that all the divisions are making the best use of the insights data available. - Own post launch assessments and feedback loop for improvements/course corrections. - Own the key agency relationships including but not limited to: o Critiquing agency proposals in order to ensure the adoption of the most efficient and effective research approach o Negotiating research time and costs with agencies for maximum efficiency o Supervision of the agency work flow and always ensuring timely delivery - Be partners with the marketing and creative team to ensure insights direction is taken on-board in any creative execution/ consumer facing promotion etc. - Internal dissemination of insights to influence business, product and marketing direction. The ideal candidate has : - In-depth, hands on understanding of the various quantitative research tools, techniques &amp; processes - Significant hands on experience across quantitative and qualitative research - Demonstrated ability to deliver insights that led to successful products/innovations/Campaigns - Solid project management skills - Strong ability to collaborate across functions - Strategic thinking, strong logic and analytical capability - Strong oral and written communication skill and ability to communicate across functions, and to different levels of management - Exceptional customer orientation - Ability to move fast and adapt in a dynamic environment - 4-5 years- experience working with consumer and brand research agencies (Nielsen, Henley, TNS/RI, IMRB, Millward Brown, etc.) - 2-3 years client side experience FMCG company - Additional experience with a consumer tech company a big plus.
