Overview :

- The benefits lead will be responsible for assisting with the administration of all benefits and retirement programs, including medical, life insurance, pension plans and flex benefits for all Ola employees. The incumbent will work closely with our HR Business Partners to facilitate implementation of the various Employee Benefits initiatives.

- The incumbent will lead the review of benefits best practices in the industry and select options, which are most feasible and meet the firms benefits priorities.

Responsibilities :

- Accountable for Benefits administration including insurance renewal and forms processing for retirement benefits, supporting data requirements for actuarial valuation, relationship building with benefit vendors and insurance brokers


- Timely redressal of employee queries on benefit entitlements and payouts


- Support Benefits lead with participation in benefits surveys commissioned by consulting firms to derive appropriate market intelligence information

- Assist with onboarding new benefits vendors and following up them to complete the firm risk and security compliance requirements

- Work on various flex benefits for India employees


- Support in managing the Provident fund / Pension plans for India employees

- Provide day-to-day support to local India HR Business Partners and Managers on Benefits policies and processes

- Organise monthly Benefits awareness sessions

- Streamline processes to bring in efficiency around forms processing, benefits administration

- Work with various vendors / benefit providers to ensure best rates and maximum benefit

- Partner effectively with local and regional teams

- Generate standard/ad hoc analytics for regional and local HR management on benefits utilization

Skills Required :

- Graduate / MBA with 5- 6 years experience in HR or Benefits in preferably MNCs

- Good understanding of India benefits & related practices and processes

- Knowledge of Excel, Word, PPT

- Detail oriented and highly organized

- Good client servicing skills

- Good communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

- Strong team player and ability to work independently
