Job Description :


- Serve as the subject matter expert for supply planning, network optimization and capacity planning while supporting various projects including; monthly demand plans, consumption models, network and production strategy optimization, integration of new businesses, and new product launches. 


- Drive Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process collaborating cross-functionally with Revenue Planning, Category Management, Supply Chain (Logistics & Warehouse), Production Operations, Procurement, R&D and Finance. 


- Responsible for leading the monthly S&OP process for the company focused on short term to long term planning and decision-making optimizing service levels, operational costs and supply availability.


- Also, responsible for revisiting the planned numbers with higher frequency (bimonthly) to raise flags and provide mitigation plans in case of any deviation due to production/procurement blocker/delay, change in consumption pattern, etc. 


- Capable of leading new initiatives for execution of cross-functional programs devised to achieve operational cost goodness & process excellence.

Key responsibilities :


- Lead the cross-functional weekly & monthly S&OP cadence


- Lead process for supply-demand balancing, constraints, allocations and forward looking projections

- Continuously drive better business practice and increased value to the business through measurement and improvement of key performance indicators

- Aggregate large amounts of data, filter for importance and tie together in a context relevant story designed to drive action

- Drive cross-functional alignment with the business, Sales, R&D, Supply Chain Operations, Procurement and Finance

- Continuously drive process improvement to increase the level of process maturity and influence it has in driving business decisions across the company

- Capable of communicating, presenting and influencing senior-level executives

- Monitor the demand plan performance throughout the month to provide detailed input to Sales and Marketing management for use in demand review and S&OP meetings.

- Lead Network Optimization Process to mitigate the cost and maximize service

- Develop Capacity simulation process to run sensitivity analysis for growth

- Drive new initiative programs for operational cost optimization (COGS, Network cost, etc.) and process excellence as needed time to time

- Lead purchase requisition process from validating procurement asks to ensuring timely processing of POs and payments for COGS related transactions

Key Skills Required :


- Experience leading a S&OP functional area (supply, demand and/or Finance)

- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

- Experience creating executive friendly presentations on complex business and supply chain topics and presenting to senior-level audience

- Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making skills

- Proven ability to build and maintain productive cross-functional relationships excellent communications and interpersonal skills

- Ability to be successful driving change in a highly matrixed environment

- Leadership presence and the ability to lead a process in a highly matrixed environment

- Capable of influencing and driving decisions through the S&OP process

- Demonstrated understanding of financial systems and the key drivers within the supply chain operations including productions

- Demonstrated deep business and analytical skills

- Able to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
