I. Designation: Procurement Head  II. Location: Bangalore  III. Job description:  a. Managing a team of 10-15  b. Support to CFO in all aspects relating to Procurement, Vendor Management (OEM and RMT), Insurance management, residual value management and special projects  c. Coordinate with City teams for procurement planning  IV. Job responsibilities:  1. Procurement Planning-  a. Liaises with internal strategic driver sourcing team to determine their need of vehicles and services  b. Monthly/Quarterly planning for procurement of vehicles and related devices and services  2. Vendor Management- (Vendors will comprise of OEMs, Dealers and other service & device suppliers)  a. Coordination with OEMs for procurement  b. Negotiate with OEMs of best prices and max credit terms for procurement of various car models  c. Negotiate with dealers on the - Dealer component- of on road Price  d. Nurture relationships with new suppliers for devices relating to cars.  e. Develop and implement strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels of devices and accessories etc  f. Design long term arrangements with Vendors in terms of better prices, after sales services and other value added services  3. Internal processes and compliance-   a. Timely issuance of Purchase Request and Purchase Order creation  b. Vendor Payment reconciliations  c. Overseeing insurance company relationships including keeping claims ratio under check and negotiating better terms  d. Inventory control and reconciliation for stocks with Dealers  e. Coordination with internal functions for vendor payments   f. Compliance to and ensuring post disbursement documents for car loans  g. Ensuring Asset Management System is live and accurate  h. Co-ordinate with Product team on aspects of development for Procurement, Insurance management, Accounts Payable  i. SPOC of RMT related procurement, bills processing  4. Residual value capabilities-   a. Understand and evaluate residual value of various car models and to develop capabilities for remarketing of end of life cars.   b. Develop re-marketing capabilities for used cars  c. Ability to develop re-sale market for used cars  5. Insurance management -   a. Manage relationship with insurers to procure the best policies for the cars  b. Monitor the claims and ensure SLAs are met  c. Understand options for in-sourcing of insurance management so that brokerage fees can be passed back within affiliate company  d. Monitor claim ratios and work with RMT team to streamline the same  6. Repair and Maintenance contracts-   a. Commercial negotiations with various OEMs, workshops etc for on-boarding (technical feasibility to be cleared by RMT head)  b. Setting up exclusive workshops and own branded workshops (commercial negotiations for the same)  c. Negotiate better rates with Original spares manufacturers inventory at exclusive/owned workshops and yards at cities  7. Special projects-  a. Commercial SPOC for special projects like EV for both vehicles (OFT) and charging infrastructure (Ola electric)  b. Ability to monitor/ project manage EV charging infra creation in sync with EV ops team  V. Skills and Qualifications:  a. CA/ PGDM from Tier 1 colleges   b. 10 to 15 years of relevant experience  c. Prior experience in procurement or vendor management especially in automotive space  d. Analytical capabilities to understand impact of procurement prices, residual values, translating cost to understand TCO including understanding of government and local taxes  e. Inventory Management  f. Understanding of used car markets will be a great plus
