Ola - Finance Controllership

Summary :

- This is a key finance leadership role based out of the corporate office, Bangalore which will report into the Finance Controller and closely work with stakeholders from Business Finance, Taxation, FP & A and Audit as part of routine operations.

- Incumbent would be handling areas of Internal Audit, Statutory audit and secretarial matters as part of deliverables.

- An experienced senior leader who has handled and independently delivered entity reporting functions including managing audit in a fast paced growing manufacturing organization or a start-up would be preferred for this role.

Role Description :

The person will be responsible for :

1. Handling reporting, compliance and month end reporting

2. Overseeing compliance in key areas of reporting, consolidation & audit of accounts

3. Oversee International operations' reporting with the team

4. Treasury accounting in terms of banking & cash management

5. Oversee secretarial functions

6. Be partner in preparation of board audit committee presentations in the future.

7. Handling external audit relationship, interacting with the Internal Audit team

8. Be responsible to maintain a clean ledger well reconciled, system driven bank accounts reconciliation

Attributes, Experience :

- The candidate will potentially lead a team of 5-10 in a phased manner as the team would grow over time.

- The incumbent needs to have experience in handling controller-ship in companies of scale and complexity.

- We are looking for a seasoned leader who can operate independently and aligns/agrees key agenda with the finance leader and enables management by exception by driving the function fairly independently.

- Expertise in IAS, IFRS is a must.

- Agility, change management capability, first principle thinking, digital/technology/process-oriented approach, comfort & expertise with SAP / systems, effective team management skills and potential to grow further into a large international list-co controller are the key requirements.

- Must have present-ability & stature to interact at leadership level.

- CA with 10-13 years of post-qualification experience.
