Ola Electric - Associate Director - Plant Finance - CA

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Overall responsibility for delivering Financial, Cost and Compliance controls at the plant as well as working with the plant team to achieve all KPI's of the plant.

- Handling MIS and various reporting related to the Management

- Track S&OP Plan vs Actual - identify key issues/bottlenecks in Production, Quality, Maintenance and drive CFT's to close them

- CFT with ME team for CAPEX items related to line improvements, efficiency, modifications, enhancement etc

- Monitor capital expenditure spending against budget and capitalization of open items and facilitate asset tagging.

- Controlling plant overheads. To track plant performances on a regular basis and drive attention to key performance indicator driving cost reduction and waste elimination initiatives at the plant

- Responsible for month end closing activity and reporting

- Provide Variance analysis report of actuals against annual budget plan to the management.

- Work with the plant's managers to prepare a comprehensive annual operating plan (budget) to implement the plant's overall operating plan and establish operating and financial plans and commitments for the year. Assist in the preparation of interim financial projections.

- Good Communication skill & team player so that maintain proper coordination with plant head, CFT Heads & Senior Management to explain results, make improvements, manage projects, Identify inefficiencies, understand operations and lead the development of complex analysis.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant

- 12 to 16 years of post qualification experience in similar role

- Well conversant in SAP environment

- Proficient in MS excel

- Ability to work independently.

- Strong analytical skills

- Must be a team player and act cooperatively with the business

- Team handling if done earlier will be an added advantage
