Main Purpose Primary purpose of this role is to lead sourcing for IT &amp; Telecom categories for OLA group. This is a group level role spanning across OLA entities. Incumbent will manage over $10MM worth of spend through (1) Defining and executing category strategies, contract management and supplier relationship management, (2) Partnering with other stakeholders to define policies and deploy smart spend initiatives (3) Measuring and Improving Performance, and (4) Achieving Annual Plans and Delivering targeted Productivity Accountabilities - Partner with Key stakeholders (including IT, Procurement Operations Team, Finance) to Design the category strategies (using 7 step strategic sourcing approach that integrates changing market conditions, internal demand analysis and external supplier and market analysis) Implement the sourcing strategies in line with the procurement policy and practices Monitor compliance, and Track and report benefits - Lead spend mapping for all sub-categories to drive managed spend penetration on a regular basis. - Lead all supplier negotiations to drive win-win solutions, manage supplier relationships - Own and manage all contracts in full compliance to contract policy - Plan and deliver category Productivity / Savings - Lead continuous improvement initiatives in the category spend from Procurement perspective. - Lead negotiations to drive sustainable win-win solutions and manage the ongoing supplier relationship. - Develop strong leadership on the category and build stature in industry &amp; function both internally &amp; externally Key Skills/Experience Required - Degree/ Masters in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Business, Finance or related fields - 7 to 10 years- experience in Procurement with exposure to Indirect Spend sourcing (preferably within IT &amp; Telecom Services categories) - Experience in using advanced sourcing methodologies/tools. - Experience of procurement/strategic sourcing in AMENA countries preferred - Skilled in managing a diverse set of business stakeholders across multiple functions and locations; requires strong influencing skills. - High integrity and work ethic: will not compromise values to get results - Leadership: eager to embrace and lead change, ability to manage in an ambiguous environment, consistently works against the right priorities - Drive for Results: Self Starter; perseverant and resilient in the pursuit of objectives, willing to take on new challenges, works to resolve tough issues - Strong communication: comfortable and effective communicating (verbal and written) with stakeholders internally and externally across all levels - Analytical: ability to analyze information to draw conclusions and find actionable solutions - Highly Collaborative: works well with others, including internal and external stakeholders to deliver results and keeps others informed to avoid unnecessary surprises; enhances Procurement stature while working in cross-functional teams - Inclusive: treats all people with respect and fairness, open to and respectful of others- opinions and points of view - Innovative: takes initiative to find ways to get better results, seeks and takes advantage of ideas, best practices and solutions developed elsewhere Main interactions within &amp; outside organization / External &amp; Internal Environmental Factors - Respective Business Functions (IT &amp; Operations) - Procurement Organization - Vendors across levels
