Job Summary:

- As Associate Director - Public Relation & Communication you will be responsible for bringing to life Ola's EV vision and driving awareness amongst stakeholders as we embark on the mission to lead the world into new mobility.

- You will be responsible for managing the company's public perception, developing communication strategies, media management, product communications, as well as understanding the importance of timing in setting messages.

- You will work with all forms of media and channels that will enable the right delivery of messages across these channels. This requires significant management skills, stakeholder management, content prowess and strong media relations.

- You are expected to work with the CEO and senior leadership across the organization and will be responsible for the integrity and perception of our brand through regular communications, issues or crises to preserve our organization's reputation at all times.

- Your role will oversee all aspects of both external and internal communications.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Overseeing a team of public relations professionals to delegate tasks, writing or editing press releases prior to publication, and helping their company organize events such as conferences that involve their industry and the local community.

- Oversees and produces, from concept to completion, a broad array of digital and print promotional and communication materials for the organization.

- Ensures that all materials present a clear, unified, and positive image for the organization and brand.

- Plans to prepare and distribute original promotional content such as articles, news and press releases, email, blog and social media posts, keynote presentations and other updates on behalf of the organization.

- Promotes and attends special events and functions; promotes and reports on corporate milestones and activities such as company goals and projects; new products or services; community service activities; and new hires, promotions, and retirements.

- Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media

- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategies surrounding the brand.

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews

- Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level

Education and Experience:

- A Master's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline.

- 8+ years of experience in Public relations & Communication, marketing, publications, or a related field required.
