The Senior Analyst: Market Intelligence plays a vital role in supporting Ogilvy planning teams by providing data driven consumer and market understanding. The ideal candidate is a curious, analytical thinker, results and detail oriented. You must be a self-starter, have a deep knowledge of data sources, how to use the same to synthesize insights and help in the planning process.
Responsibilities include :
- Support on assignments from multiple countries
- Understanding market research data sources like Euromonitor, Mintel, GWI, TGI, Statista and digital research tools like SEMRUSH, Comscore, Similarweb, Talkwalker etc.
- Conducting data pull and understanding the data to offer actionable insights across categories.
- Quantitative and Qualitative analysis of the data from multiple sources and synthesis of insights. Converting analysis into a narrative on Powerpoint and work with Planning teams to finetune
- Continuously focusing on acquiring/improving domain knowledge and expertise to become expert on the market research data sources.
- Converting frequently asked requirements into visual dashboards
What we are looking for:
- 3 to 4 years of experience in research/ consulting roles with exposure to a wide variety of secondary data sources
- Ability to integrate data from multiple sources and analyze the same to mine insights
- Strong storytelling, Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Excellent expression in English
Desirable
- Exposure to Tableau/ Google Data Studio
- Exposure to search and social data sets
