Offshore Operations Management Consultant

Technology & Consulting Business Unit

Position Description :

As an Offshore Operations Management Consultant belonging to the Technology & Consulting Business Unit, you will be part of a team designing state of the art integrated operations processes and systems for major international clients in the offshore sector. You will be working closely with client personnel to analyze their business and technology requirements, design appropriate business processes and define the functional and technical specifications of the technological solutions, which will complement the business processes and will address client needs. You will also have the opportunity to participate in project estimation and proposal preparation.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably chemical or mechanical engineering. Relevant advanced degrees are considered a plus.

- Minimum of 10 years experience in offshore operations management or offshore operations systems design, with focus in any One or more of the areas below

a) Reservoir and production management

b) Performance management

c) Reliability and integrity management

d) Condition based maintenance

e) Data acquisition in offshore installations

- Experience in business process analysis and design.

- Good understanding of the role and high level functions of an ERP.

- Good understanding of integration functional design.

- Experience in working as part of a project team on medium to large projects.

- Experience in working with client project teams and client stakeholders.

- Good understanding of the role of project management and adherence to project management procedures.

- Excellent communication skills, especially with respect to communicating technical issues to non-technical individuals.

- Excellent writing and presentation skills.

- Very strong team skills.

- Excellent time management skills.

- Focus on quality and delivery, adherence to the project schedule.
