Officer - Quality Control/Quality Assurance - Port Industry

We are having an opening for QA/ QC(Quality control/ quality assurance) in Port Industry in West Africa.

Experience in SAP and MS project is must.

Candidates from Port background or having experience in making bridges is preferred.

Please find the job description:

Implement the QA/QC management system at site.

1.Coordinate with quality inspections with all the site sub-contractors and vendors.

2.Coordinate with all the stakeholders' representative on all quality matters.

3.Coordinate all receipt inspections.

4.Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site sub-contractors.

5.Preparation, Review and Approval of all QA/QC documents. Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.

6.Participate in the site internal and external site audits.

7.Ensure all quality control documentation is complied.

8.Control all non conformance reports and undertake remedial action.

9.Complete site quality control instructions and action remedial responses.

10.Monitor the implementation of the approved site QC Plan including documentation.

11.Elaborating inspection and test programs.

12.Coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues. Coordinate and chair the QA/QC site weekly meetings with the projects subcontractors QC personnel.

13.Assist to monitor all department budgets and manage all inventories on quarterly basis and assist all team members to manage all production schedules.

14.Manage all workflow for projects and maintain control on same and manage an efficient inventory level of all safety stock and review all volume requirements for all production materials.

15.Assist to obtain and manage all orders and deliveries for all external processes and prepare reports to be presented to management and manage demand and supply of all materials.

16.Collaborate with all stakeholders to perform various strategies and coordinate with program manager to monitor all supply chain activities and resolve all availability issues.

17.Prepare reports for all planning activity metrics and analyze all results to recommend required improvements in performance and collaborate with material manager to forecast all required strategies.

18.Plan inventory levels and locations and execute all forecasting and planning programs.

19.Maintain optimal level of performance within required budget and ensure compliance to all standard projects.
