Manager - Capital Markets (Night Shift) POSITION SUMMARY: - The manager position will model, report and validate various trading strategies and portfolio management activities. This will include whole loan sales of performing/non-performing/REO, balance sheet financing activities, and credit exposure of GNMA Mod/EBO portfolios.&nbsp; - The manager role will focus on creating enhanced analytics to facilitate the sale of loans through multiple channels, such as securitization or whole loan asset sales. Must be a self-starter, with strong analytical background, excellent organizational skills that complement the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline orientated environment. - This position will also provide significant interaction with management and trading professionals on topics of trading analysis, valuation and portfolio reporting. A very high attention to detail, strong work ethic, and strong mathematical aptitude are required. JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Daily support for all GNMA Mod/EBO and whole loan deliverables, including model validation, data analysis and file creation - Maintain automated and integrated methodologies for data validation, data collection, data analysis and data interpretation - Ensure profitability of GNMA Mod/EBO portfolio by analyzing servicing activities for accuracy - Identify and correct process gaps negatively impacting the re-securitization of the GNMA Mod buyout pipeline - Monitor and update GNMA Mod/EBO buyout pipeline pull through metrics using servicing data - Manage the process associated with efficiently transacting loans and pools of loans, such as bid tapes, settlements, defect tracking and reconciliations - Work independently on delegated projects QUALIFICATIONS: - 4-8 years experience in a capital markets role - An undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. economics, math, finance, engineering, etc.) with strong academic performance (a minimum GPA of 3.5) - MBA and/or CFA preferred - Advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Mortgage Modeling - Proficiency with SQL scripting and Microsoft VBA - Familiarity with mortgage pricing, valuation, and risk management - Results-driven, Strong oral and written communication skills - Ability to understand complex models and concepts WORK SCHEDULE OR TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS (Only add if needed) Daily support - US Based hours 8am-6pm EST (6.30pm-3.30am IST) COMPANY SUMMARY :&nbsp; Ocwen is intensely focused on hiring, developing and retaining the best talent in the industry!
