The Director of Pre-Foreclosure will manage a high profile important part of the Servicing Operations business function, as well as processes and procedures for pre-foreclosure processing in the US and India. This position will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Servicing Operations.
As the head of Servicing Operations, Pre-Foreclosure, this individual will be fully responsible for the strategy and vision required to achieve operational excellence.
This is a highly visible position that will interface with the Company's leadership and will represent Servicing Operations to Clients, Investors and Rating Agencies.
Responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to strategic direction setting and thought leadership to achieve short term and long term goals
- Designing, implementing and managing strategy in conjunction with executive management and investors
- Developing innovative strategies, processes and tools for ensuring the quality and optimal execution of pre-foreclosure processes
- Completing, developing and implementing comprehensive control reporting to ensure policies, procedures, timelines and external compliance requirements are adhered to and achieved
- Managing the pre-foreclosure timeline, including hitting all milestones required prior to foreclosure referral
- Managing the foreclosure referral process, including maintaining key relationships with business leaders across the organization
- Maintaining industry leadership by embracing best practices, rewarding a management team that is devoted to continuous learning and demonstrating a willingness to challenge the status quo
- Providing operational leadership and oversight to reduce variability and improve efficiencies through automation
Key result areas will include:
- Developing a knowledge base of all pre-foreclosure requirements along with controls to ensure that state, federal regulatory and statute changes are monitored and incorporated
- Delivering on Service Level Agreement's and business requirements
- Meeting budget revenue and contribution targets
- Evaluating and resolving high priority or complex problems through statistical analysis
- Maintaining awareness of industry developments in order to evaluate and recommend new procedures or changes to existing procedures
- Establishing a culture of team collaboration, accountability, operational excellence and unwavering commitment to customer service and satisfaction
Experience:
- College degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or other disciplines such as Statistics, Economics or Operations Research (MBA Preferred)
- 5+ years senior level experience in Default Servicing
- Demonstrated success in leading personnel in multiple locations to quality and service standards
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to speak effectively before investors or employees of organization
- Experience in bridging statistical analysis, technology and process optimization
- Ability to deal effectively and communicate with individuals at all levels
- Be able to recognize and act on both departmental and corporate priorities
- Experience in managing a global operation and capacity to travel outside India
