Oceaneering - Director/Site Lead - Service Center (20-30 yrs)

- Oversee Chandigarh and Pune Service Center operations by being the face of Oceaneering to internal and external stakeholders for the service center sites and ensure geographic profitability and optimization of facilities and resources.


- Integrate all businesses and functions onsite to ensure clear understanding of and organization around shared Oceaneering goals

- Steward consistent brand, execution, and look and feel in collaboration across all Oceaneering sites

- Champion local perspectives to corporate and translate corporate direction into what it means locally

- Local Leadership team lead / facilitator with mandate to bring all Oceaneering factions together towards a unified goal and shared site metrics

- Local figurehead and OII Lead for community events, town halls, holidays and other events; Culture exemplar

- Change Management / Change Leader, Organizational Design Transition Lead to model and drive expected behaviors and promote a healthy culture

- Union negotiations/dealings, face of OII to local government and regulatory bodies, key POC for local events/needs, emergency response coordination

- Local signatory, entity administration

- Regulatory / environmental compliance; legal cases/needs

- Site profitability

- Facility entry/exit, facility space allocation, facility administration oversight

- Budget management where appropriate

- Space planning and management

- Responsible for productivity flow for both sites

- Respond and manage local customer requests where appropriate

- Partner with local HR to roll-out and manage HR initiatives

Supervisory Responsibilities:

- This position may or may not have direct reports but will have several indirect reports.

- 10+ years experience in a Senior Management level position as a General Manager or similar role

- Ability to have impact and influence indirect reports


- Experience in the Oil & Gas or Energy industry

- Previous experience in a Human Resources position

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:

- Change agent and strategic thinker

- Ability to influence without direct authority, comfortable and experience in a Matrix organization

- Exhibits a - ONE Oceaneering- directive at all times Credibility and relationships with external stakeholders (local government / public figures, work councils, industry organizations, etc.)

- Credibility and relationships internally and with Oceaneering site Leads; understanding of how other sites work

- Understands the importance of One Oceaneering and how to facilitate cross-business, cross-functional conversations

- Privy to both formal and informal networks of how decisions are made and how things get done

- Strong interpersonal skills
