Job Description :
Position Title : Head - Online Business & e-Commerce
Department : Sales & Marketing
Reports to : Chief Executive Officer
Location : Noida
Role Summary :
The role reports to the CEO and will spearhead business growth leveraging all online channels available to the company. The online channels include our own website, app, Amazon, Flipkarts, other online e-tailers, strategic partnerships in the online domain.
1. Responsible for top-line growth in the online category across all the cities in India and in future global expansion as well.
a. Maintain relationships with e-tailers such as Amazon, Flipkart and others to ensure that these channels perform to the best of their abilities.
b. Control and provide input for our own digital assets such as website (desktop and mobile), App to ensure purchases, customer acquisitions through leads.
c. Responsible for consumer flow for our pure online un-assisted transactions.
d. Responsible for leading a team of call center executives who do tele-sales for assisted transactions.
e. Strategic relationships with partners where online sales can be pushed.
2. Responsible to maintain profitable customer acquisition costs (CAC) in the online space.
a. Work closely with our marketing agencies to ensure CAC is under the profitable threshold.
b. Leverage mediums such as FB/Google - Paid / unpaid / SEO to fuel consumer acquisition.
c. Leverage Email marketing/ SMS campaigns/ offline brand campaigns to fuel consumer acquisition.
3. Competition Analysis and Benchmarking
a. Keep a close eye on competitive space, new entrants and old players.
b. Understand market trends and new developments in the domain of home automation
c. Create marketing positioning and own marketing communication to our potential and existing customers.
d. Pricing strategies for the product to maximize business.
Qualifications & Background :
1. Team Management >= 10 people is an absolute must.
2. A go-getter and agile attitude is an absolute must.
3. 5+ years of marketing & category management experience in e-commerce is preferred
4. Premier B-school/Engineering college with a focus on general management and marketing preferable
5. Understanding and keenness of technology is very important
