Risk and Compliance OakNorth Analytical Intelligence is looking for an experienced Risk and Compliance manager to join the Risk team, reporting to the Risk and Compliance Head, in India. The successful candidate will have the proven skills and experience in this field to be able pick up the responsibilities immediately and work at pace to meet the deliverables and is likely to have already held a similar role in a major bank or financial institution. Mission for the Risk and Compliance Manager To support the rapid expansion of the ONAI's client base by ensuring that all the processes and operations are fully effective and compliant by supporting the team in thematic Reviews across the whole business. Outcomes 1. Develop and manage provision of compliance support and guidance to the business, ensuring the business is aware of all regulatory requirements and remains within its conduct risk appetite. 2. Provide support and guidance to the business in developing internal control processes to support risk and compliance. 3. Follow up with those accountable for implementing remedial activities to ensure that appropriate corrective actions or risk mitigations strategies are implemented fully within the required time frame. 4. Keep up to date on all regulatory related issues across a range of topics. 5. Compile organizational data into a reportable format in order to document how business lines and the organization are or are not meeting regulatory requirements. 6. Develop an annual Compliance Monitoring/Thematic Reviews Plan and execute assurance across products, processes, procedures and regulatory requirements 7. Support the team in other Governance work engagements from compliance perspective like monitoring external events, researching on Fraud Bulletin, assisting on risk related Dashboards and MI; 8. Support the team in Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) to ensure all required controls are implemented, documented and monitored to ensure full compliance. 9. Managing external quality reviews/ Certifications (ISO27001, ISAE3402, SOC1/2, CSA etc.) 10. Perform regular security audits including vulnerability assessments 11. Minimise the risk to the business and the customer with a strong focus on process controls 12. Delivering training on InfoSec, Data Protection, Business Continuity, Incident &amp; Crisis Management at various organisational levels 13. With guidance and support, where appropriate, cover for other members of the team in their absence 14. Competencies -&nbsp; - Strong written and verbal communication skills - excellent English grammar - Analytical skills - able to analyse complex issues in a logical and structured way - Strong exposure of working and ability to build relationships with stakeholders and teams - Attention to detail - achieves consistency, and does not allow details to slip - Minimum 6-8 years in KPO/ BFSI/ Shared services with hands on exposure in Risk, Operational Risk, Quality Assurance and SLOD testing - Confidence to be able to challenge the loan originators, who are senior bankers, and to hold fast to principles and views in debate - Build relationships with key stakeholders (both internal and external), provide advice, support and solutions on a broad range of regulatory issues - Experience and knowledge of reviewing financial promotions and customer facing documentation to ensure compliance with relevant regulation - Work ethic - works hard to achieve results on time to get deals closed - A self-starter with ability to work independently
