Nxtra - Subject Matter Expert - Civil - Data Center Construction

SME - Civil (Datacenter)

Purpose of the Job :

- Co-ordination with Business/ Network team for planning and execution of new Data Center/Office for upcoming Data Center facility in Mumbai / Pune

- Prepare and validate technical Pre-qualifications, Request for Proposals (RFP's) and Request for Quotations (RFQ's) for projects

- Develop and manage Design Architects, Structural Consultants, PMC and General Contractors

- Technical Evaluation and preparation of the tenders bids for the Civil and Interior works

- Project planning & scheduling as per business requirement

- Site & Construction Management/Resource Planning

- Cost management & Value engineering to reduce time and cost

- Execution & delivery as per cost and timelines

- Team handling & control of partners

- Contract Administration & Operations

- Regular progress reports with management and all stake holders

- Compliance to govt. building norms and statutory guidelines

- Work on green initiatives and Green Building Ratings (LEED/GRIHA, etc.) practices for new design built

Skills Required :

- Relevant Experience in construction of RCC and Steel / Precast Structures in diversified type of projects like Commercial Campuses, Industrial sheds, Data Centers, Mission Critical Facilities, etc.

- Must have previous experience in leading a team for execution of building project works

- Thorough knowledge of the subject, definite skills in structural and finishing problem solving & ability to deliver to take on site decisions in line with the principal design philosophy.

- Good Software skills such as AUTOCAD, MS-Office, MS Project / PRIMAVERA, etc.

- Full familiarity of relevant codes & standards, as well as international codes.

- Flair for Design Co-ordination with client, internal departments, consultants, vendors to achieve goals using proven communication & interpersonal skills.

- Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, ability to influence and manage in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Deliverables :

- Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, and other topographical or geological data to plan project deliverables.

- Coordinate for Pre bid designs, BOQ/ specs/ costing for new projects/proposals including method statement etc.

- Finalization of General Arrangement & details of Process and other structures in coordination with Piping, Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation requirements.

- Preparing estimation, measurement and invoice checking for quantities and cost in Civil Project having thorough knowledge in estimation for structural works (precast, steel or RCC) of building in coordination with Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation and other concerned discipline.

- Coordination with PMC, Site Engineers, field personnel and project management team, delivering projects efficiently by proposing effective solutions to problems encountered

- Plan project deliverables and track development. Validation of KPIs before delivery.

- Technical Evaluation of Vendor / Suppliers Proposals by reviewing of technical deliverables, Data Schedules and preparing base design document.

Work Experience :

- Minimum experience of 14+ years.

- Candidates having relevant experience of Construction Management of Data Center / IT / ITes / Commercial will be preferred

- Candidates having working knowledge of project monitoring software such as MS Office / Primavera will be preferred.
