Role & Responsibility:
- Lead the business development effort for forward logistics business on two fronts:
eCommerce clients: Pitch and get volumes from all large, mid-size and small eCommerce players
Non-eCommerce: Explore all avenues other than e-commerce where our current network can be utilized
- Keep an open eye for all business opportunities that exist out there
- Maintain healthy client relationships while taking care of the key SLAs
- Liaison with operations and product to ensure a continuous feedback loop from clients to our business
Preferred requirements:
- 5 years of BD work experience, preferably in the eCommerce/logistics sector
- Strong business understanding and a data-driven, analytical mindset
- Extremely self driven, with a knack of finding opportunities where seemingly nothing exist
- Great presentation and negotiation skills
- Assertive and persistent in approach with an attitude of getting work done
- Amicable and able to form and foster business relationships
- Ability to handle conflict professionally
- Ability to connect to on ground reality and act decisively and quickly
- Ability to identify, understand and process data on a regular basis
- Driven and motivated with an attitude to create an impact and go beyond what is asked
- Professional Conduct and respect for co-workers
