Manager - Application Operations and New Business

Position Overview:

To oversee the farmer application operations, farmer acquisition and retention management, and the farmer experience process enhancement and lead value proposition development. This role will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations, effective farmer acquisition and retention strategies, and enhancing the overall customer experience through efficient service and product traceability.

Responsibilities:

Farmer Application Operations:

- Oversee the farmer application process from onboarding to ongoing support.

- Ensure smooth functioning of the application, troubleshooting any technical issues and coordinating with the tech team for timely resolutions.

- Collaborate with the product development team to identify and implement required enhancements to the farmer application based on user feedback and market trends.

- Analyze application data and generate reports to measure the performance and effectiveness of the application.

Farmer Acquisition and Retention Management:

- Develop and execute strategies to attract new farmers and expand the user base.

- Implement targeted marketing campaigns to promote farmer acquisition.

- Build and maintain relationships with existing farmers to encourage long-term engagement and retention.

- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment of farmer acquisition and retention strategies with overall business objectives.

Customer Experience:

- Map and optimize the customer journey, ensuring a seamless experience from application onboarding to ongoing support.

- Identify pain points and areas for improvement in the customer experience and develop strategies to address them.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, operations, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive and positive customer experience.

- Implement tools and processes to measure and track customer satisfaction and loyalty.

- Continuously monitor customer feedback and leverage it to drive improvements in the customer experience.

Traceability of Services and Products:

- Implement systems and processes to ensure traceability of services and products throughout the supply chain.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish traceability protocols and standards.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to traceability.

- Monitor and audit traceability processes to identify and address any gaps or issues.

New Business Development

- New services and revenue lines development.

- Group customer acquisition (FPO, Contractors, processors etc.)

- Researching and adding farmer engagement tools in the .farm app.

- Market linkages opportunities for the farmers.

- Preparation necessary report documents for the review purpose.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

- Proven experience in business management, preferably in the agriculture or agtech industry.

- Strong understanding of farmer acquisition and retention strategies, customer experience management, and traceability processes.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to agriculture and traceability.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
