Key Responsibilities : The person will have to ensure that the farmers who have changed to sustainable practices get rewarded for their change in practice via a premium on their crop. 1. The person will be responsible to coordinate with the certification agencies to understand the practices required for qualifying the farm for sustainable label. 2. The person will have to establish the methodology for calculating the number of points for each practice change, such as points for achieving 30% water savings as opposed to 40% water savings. 3. The person will have to coordinate with cross functional teams to meet the labelling requirements a. Coordinate with the agronomy team to ensure that the detailed POPs are available commensurate with the labeling requirements b. Coordinate with the trade team to ensure better pricing to achieve economic sustainability c. Coordinate with the farm team to ensure various aspects of social sustainability are met d. Coordinate with the Sustain team to ensure all aspects of environmental sustainability and soil health improvement are met e. Work with IOT team to establish field level measurements and availability of data on the cloud. f. Work with IT team to ensure traceability and proper verification using on-field and remote sensing 4. Work with external verification agencies to establish the authenticity of the data 5. Work with marketing teams to establish the marketing campaigns and design of green labels 6. Work with end buyers to ensure that all their requirements are met so that the end consumers pay a premium.
